Our client is currently in the process of moving all significant applications to the public cloud, and at the same time, they are still providing support for the existing systems. Within their division, they take responsibility for the CI/CD ecosystem. This involves using standardized Jenkins workflows to create libraries, tarballs, or Docker images, depending on whether the target system is OpenShift or the legacy environment.

Job Description:

We are looking for a DevOps engineer willing to join us in shaping this model and contribute to the DevExp improvements that our team is aiming to provide. We are starting to own our infra & platform bricks and there a lot of activities ahead from supporting the Offer teams in their cloud migration, growing our OpenShift clusters and maintaining them healthy, optimizing our environmental footprint and costs through FinOps, pursuing automation to kill manual work, and provide appropriate tooling for our communities. We will appreciate if you show you can work easily with others and especially remote groups and communities.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies and experience with cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and managing OpenShift clusters.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and platform components, and the ability to take ownership of them.
• Understanding of FinOps principles to optimize environmental footprint and costs.
• Demonstrated experience in automation and eliminating manual work.
• Proficiency in relevant tooling and technologies used in the DevOps space.
